I met Rachel over 5 years ago with goals that were completely different from today’s results. I started with her when I was pregnant with my fourth child and thinking I was being realistic and wanting to try not to gain 50 pounds in this pregnancy, like I did with my other three, and work on my posture which was suffering. I warned her that I did not like or adhere to diets and I wasn’t going to give up chocolate or french fries. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I could still have foods that I love.
At first, I felt she was nit-picky. “Don’t lock your knees” or “You’re right foot needs to go in an inch more.” I hated when she would have me do a plank. I didn’t think these things really made a difference. Boy, was I wrong! Today, I can’t start my day without doing a plank (in addition to other exercises she has me literally craving daily). I’ve lost all the baby weight (thank God), I naturally sit and stand with near perfect posture (for me), and I feel stronger, more toned, and confident than ever. This is the first time in my life I can actually say that I am satisfied with my body
What Rachel has done for me over the years is listen and advise without passing judgment. I didn’t start working out with her to have the result that I have today. Being a “Fit Mom” is just an added bonus. She knows her stuff and I am definitely the one who benefited.

When Rachel told me that this program would be a life changing program instead of a diet, I have to admit, I didn't really believe her. But, after being under her care, guidance, counseling, and education, this way of life is in my blood. It is second nature to me to make choices based on my own well-being. I shop for food with an educated mind now. I exercise with the knowledge of how to listen to my body (muscle memory does exist!), and I enjoy being me.
Rachel's program has taught me that with planning, commitment and belief in myself, I can do anything I put my mind to!Rachel's program, unlike any other I had tried before, focuses on the mind, how it works and how to retrain, rethink and commit. Exercise and eating right is a given. But Rachel educates so that there are no barriers - you know what you need to do to get from A to B, she keeps it logical so that anyone can understand. If you don't get to B it is because you didn't follow the plan. It's there in black and white. She gives you all the tools that you need to succeed in changing your life. If you make the decision and follow the program, the results are astounding.
I have to be honest, when I started this program, I did not believe there was any way that I would change my eating habits without being completely miserable. I was terrified that I would have to give up my sweets and other foods that I love so much. When I started this program, I knew it was time for me to make some changes and lose some weight. I had no idea how successful I would be and so quickly! I couldn't have picked a better way to do it.
This program is one of the best things I have ever done for myself. I not only got on a workout schedule that I enjoy, but I also completely love the way that I eat and never feel deprived. I can't remember the last time I felt good about the way that I look. I feel 100% better and am able to do so much more than before. I ended up losing a total of 35#. I can't even remember the last time I bought a size small of anything. I am wearing the same size jeans that I wore in high school. I also cannot remember ever being excited to wear a swimsuit. I ended up buying two swimsuits and love them both. My energy level has skyrocketed and I haven't gotten sick once since I began this lifestyle. I owe all of this accomplishment to Rachel. I am so grateful for her knowledge and commitment, which completely changed my life in the most positive way.
As one of the participant's in Rachel's Fall into Fitness program, I couldn't believe how Rachel was able to to get me to do something I wasn't sure I could do. At the beginning of the program my thoughts were to just get through the 12 weeks the best I could and that the eating/nutrition part of it just seemed too strict. However, I was quite surprised at how it seemed to get easier and easier as the program progressed. This program was tough for me, especially through the holidays. However, the timing was actually great. Rachel taught us how to get ourselves through the holidays without gaining weight - I actually lost weight. At times I felt exhausted, frustrated, exhilarated and surprised (sometimes that was all in just one day). This program gave me the tools to deal with those feelings and keep me motivated. I am extremely happy that I stuck it out - it's an awesome program!
Rachel's program is the whole package. It is about nutrition and eating real food. It is not a diet. This program will work for you once you make up your mind that you want to get in shape and are ready to learn a completely different way of looking at foods and nutrition. There is no slacking on this program, but you won't have to wait long to feel great and see results. It happens quickly. I had measurable results in just a few weeks.
With Rachel's program, along with her valuable daily support, I truly surprised myself at what I could accomplish. Rachel is extremely knowledgeable and continues to do extensive research. If you have any physical or health issues, she adjusts your workouts to fit those needs. You can't get that with an exercise DVD!
I lost 25 #'s in 12 weeks, lost a total of 24.5 inches all over my body, and 6.5% body fat. I really do look like a different person and I feel like one too. I feel great and am looking forward to working with Rachel to continue learning and keeping in shape. - Thank you, Rachel - you're the best!
